All About Me

Hello, I am Jayne and I have looked after children for most of my working life as a Nanny, as a Childminder and in a Nursery. I live in Cambridgeshire near the beautiful city of Ely. I have experience of working with all ages of children from babies to teens and have regularly managed the care of multiple children.

I build close bonds with the children I care for while managing discipline in a manner appropriate for the age and stage of the child. I provide fun and challenging activities beneficial to the growth and development of children always paying attention to children's particular interests.

I am excellent at multi tasking and have superior organisational skills which help me manage the children and the household tasks that need doing while working as a Nanny. I love taking children out and about for exciting outings and nature walks and if it's muddy then so much the better.

I understand that it important to work in partnership with parents and have a history of excellent relationships with the families that I have worked with and have usually stayed for a number of years in each placement.

Now while working as an employed nanny in Cambridge I also offer my services as an adhoc Nanny, Babysitter and Proxy Parent. I currently have Mondays and Fridays free and can also provide care over the weekends. This service means you could enjoy some time at the gym, go for a run, pop out for lunch with friends, have extra help when you throw a children's party, go Christmas shopping in peace, enjoy some respite or go away for a long weekend.
